The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 4.5-inch 1280x768 (334 ppi) AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and a 2000MAh non-removable battery. It also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and support for 4G LTE network.
General Manager, Nokia West Africa, Chris Brown disclosed that the Lumia 1020 is a product of Nokia's long years of research in imaging technology. The Lumia 1020 follows in the footsteps of the Nokia 808 PureView phone, which was the first phone to sport a 41MP sensor. That phone was one of the last Nokia phones to run the Symbian OS, while the Lumia 1020 is a Windows Phone.
