The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 4.5-inch 1280x768 (334 ppi) AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and a 2000MAh non-removable battery. It also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and support for 4G LTE network.
General Manager, Nokia West Africa, Chris Brown disclosed that the Lumia 1020 is a product of Nokia's long years of research in imaging technology. He stressed that based on the level of innovation put into the Smartphone, customers are sure to have great experiences especially camera enthusiasts. The Lumia 1020 follows in the footsteps of the Nokia 808 PureView phone, which was the first phone to sport a 41MP sensor. That phone was one of the last Nokia phones to run the Symbian OS, while the Lumia 1020 is a Windows Phone.
